Close the covering
Foldthecovering(8)towardstheportandpushup
untilfirmlyinplace.TheMINOXACX100should
alwaysbeusedwhenthecoveringiscompletely
closed.
Inserting the battery
Insertthebatteryintothecompartment(12)sothat
thestickeronthebatteryisfacingtowardstheUSB
port(10)andthegoldencontactstotherightofthe
camera.Thebatteryhasbeeninsertedproperlyif
therehasbeenanaudibleclick.
Charging the battery
BeforeconnectingyourMINOXACX100toyourcom-
puterwiththeUSBcable,makesureitisturnedoff.As
soonasthecamerahasbeenconnected,thecharging
processwillautomaticallybeginandthegreenLED
ontheleft(13)willlightup.WhenthisLEDturnsoff,
thechargingprocessisfinished.
Removing the battery
Toreleasethebattery,pushthesmallpindownlo-
catedattheupperrightofthebatterycompartment.
Thebatterywillbereleasedandcannowberemoved.
Inserting the memory card
Openthecoveringandinsertthememorycardinto
theSDcardslot(11)withthegoldcontactsfacingthe
USBport(10).Thememorycardhasbeeninserted
properlyiftherehasbeenanaudibleclick.
Removing the memory card
Carefullypushthememorycardinwardsandletgo.
Thecardwillthenbereleasedandcannowbere-
moved.
Setting the resolution
Youcanchoosebetweentworesolutions.Iftheswitch
(9)hasbeenpushedup(HI),theMINOXACX100will
recordinthehighestresolution(1080p=fullHD).If
youwishtorecordinthelowerresolution(720p),
pushtheswitchdown(LO).
Attaching the lens covering
Alwaysusethelenscoveringtoprotectthelensfrom
foreignbodieslikeraindrops,saltwater,dustorsand,
whenyourMINOXACX100isnotinuse.
